Let’s just say I’m lucky to be able to just pack up and go. I just got back from Panama City Beach. Very nostalgic for me. I used to come down for Spring Break and get into trouble. Theres only one other person I know that would appreciate this place as much as I do and that’s Lizz.
We stayed at a resort right on the beach. The sand looks just like sugar and the water is so clear, just beautiful to wake up to. We wanted to do all the cheesy things we did as a kid. So we started by renting a golf cart and went to nostalgic bars and restaurants (Pineapple Willy’s, Schooners, Harpoon Harry’s) down front beach. We got drunk and listened to country music. Had our toes in the water, ass in the sand… not a worry in the world. I did get to experience a first in this trip… deep sea fishing! Caught King Mackerel, Red Snapper, Trigger Fish, plus a shark!! You don’t realize how much of a workout this is as you’re doing it. I felt it ALL the next day! Ended the trip snorkeling on Shell Island. So beautiful! You know we couldn’t leave without our PCB airbrush t-shirts! LMAO!
I have so much appreciation for the simple things. This trip didn’t cost thousands of dollars and no we didn’t stay in the most extravagant resort, but the memories and the simplicity are priceless! I’ll fuck around and move to Panama City… I was made of the salt life! Enjoy the pics.
